Epic Changes are coming to Southwest: Southwest Pediatrics will go live June 1, 2013, with our new electronic medical records system, Epic. The physicians and staff have already started training in the new system but there may be some delays when the change happens. Please be patient with us during this transition and enjoy the benefits this new system will bring for your family.
Southwest Pediatrics is featured in the recently published American Academy of Pediatrics monograph, Positioning the Family and Patient at the Center (PDF). Southwest Pediatrics has dedicated its efforts to improve our patient experience in the clinic and the quality of care they receive using the Medical Home Model to facilitate family networking, increase accessibility of care and create of a parent advisory board to guide practice improvements.
