Bayshore Pediatrics
Sharyl Paley, MD, FAAP
Personal history and message:
After being away for college and medical school I realized what a great place Milwaukee is to raise a family. My husband Bob and I live in the North Shore along with our exuberant children, Hannah, Avi and Danya. You often will see (or hear) them visiting me at the office at the end of a day. You also may see us out and about in the community. This is why I love working where I live. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading and hanging out with my family.
I am lucky that I have been a part of the same practice since 1996. Our group has grown to include four caring and compassionate physicians who always are available to you. It is exciting to see the babies I first examined in the nursery about to become teenagers. Helping guide parents through this journey is one of the most important jobs a pediatrician has to do. As a parent, I understand how this can be frustrating and exhilarating at the same time. Each child is different. There is not an answer to all questions, so my job is to help you figure out what works for your family. I always have emphasized to the parents I see that I want to know what they are thinking. Your instincts usually are right on. I always am available to answer any questions or concerns. Medicine has changed a lot over the past decade and will continue to change. I try to help parents understand these changes while keeping their children safe and healthy.
