A message from Dr. Melbye:

I was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I am excited to be a part of this community and to raise my family here. My wife Kristal and I live in the North Shore along with our daughters, Kate and Anna, and our golden retriever Mason. You may see us out riding our bikes, playing at the park, swimming at the pool or just running errands. Another place you might see me is Miller Park. I am a die hard Brewer fan. I've been trying to convince my girls to become Brewer fans too so I can increase the number of games in my season ticket plan.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of this practice and care for the children in this community. As a parent I appreciate the importance of having a comfortable and collaborative relationship with your child's pediatrician. In my practice I actively involve parents in their child's medical care and feel strongly about patient and parent education. I always am available to listen to concerns and answer questions you may have. My goal is to support you and your family and provide your children with excellent medical care throughout their development from the newborn period to young adulthood. My one request is that my patients don't get sick on Brewers' Opening Day! :)

Being a pediatrician is the best job in medicine. I get to watch my patients grow up at the same time they are keeping me young. I enjoy all areas of pediatrics including newborn care, tracking child development, health maintenance and injury prevention, infectious diseases and asthma management.
