Influenza vaccine

The influenza vaccination is the primary method for preventing influenza and its severe complications. The pediatricians of Bayshore Pediatrics strongly encourage all children 6 months and older to receive an annual influenza vaccine. Please call our office to speak with your pediatrician if you have questions about your child(ren) receiving the influenza vaccine.

SPECIAL NOTE: The 2010-2011 Influenza Vaccine includes H1N1 vaccine. There is not a seperate vaccine for H1N1 this year.

Key facts about the flu vaccine.

Appointments

Bayshore Pediatrics begins influenza vaccination appointments after Sept. 1. Appointments are made with the medical assistant starting in September and through April. Please call our office at (414) 228-0099 today to set up an appointment.

For child(ren) that have physical appointments, the influenza vaccine may be given at that time. If only one child has a physical appointment and you would like to make arrangements to have other children receive the vaccine at the same time, please call our office ahead of the appointment to make these arrangements.
