Leyla Hamizadeh, MD

Welcome Dr. Leyla Hamizadeh!

Dr. Hamizadeh (hah - mee - ZAA - de) grew up in the Milwaukee area and has a long history of living and working in this commmunity. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Marquette University with her bachelor's degree in Biology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed the pediatric residency program at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in June, where she was highly regarded by her patients and colleagues.

Dr. Hamizadeh started seeing patients at Forest View Pediatrics in July 2010.

A Message from Dr. Hamizadeh:

"I am excited and honored to be joining the Physicians at Forest View Pediatrics, and look forward to meeting all of my new patients!

I know and value the importance of developing an open and trusting relationship with my patients and their parents, especially since I was inspired by my own pediatrician to pursue my chosen profession.  Throughout my training, I have worked diligently to build strong assessment and treatment skills.  I am especially interested in the fields of preventative medicine, asthma management, and kidney disorders.  But mostly I enjoy that so much of what I learn comes from carefully listening to the patient's concerns, as it's key to pursuing the best course of treatment.  It is with great enthusiasm that I anticipate meeting all of you!"
